The name Živel je mož stems from a Slavic folk song with a circular structure:

There lived a man who had a dog and kept him quite well fed,
until one day he stole some meat that's why he killed him dead.
Around the back he buried him under a stone which read:
There lived a man who had a dog, and kept him quite well fed...

Not unlike this poem, the band itself seems to be a neverending entity since no matter which current "dogs" are playing - the "song remains the same".

Currently the bandmembers are:

Miloš Kosec, Guitar, author of the majority of the Band's songs, he played with bands such as Točka and Kapela la chatelier, he was also a guest guitarist on the Ad Hoc's album, Sinjina and on the record of guitar songs by Matjaž Jarc, Odsevi.
